Wiki Groups

Wiki Groups help organize pages within the sidebar by grouping related documentation under a common heading. This makes navigation cleaner and allows readers to quickly find related pages.

Groups are managed directly from the sidebar editor and can be rearranged using drag-and-drop.

Tip

Use groups to organize documentation by product, feature, department, or topic for a more structured navigation experience.

Create a Wiki Group

Follow these steps to create a new sidebar group.

  1. Open your Wiki Space.
  2. Click Edit Sidebar from the left sidebar.
  3. Click Add Group.
  4. Enter a title for the new group.
  5. Add or move one or more Wiki Pages into the group.
  6. Save your changes.

Organizing Pages

After creating a group, you can drag existing pages into it or create new pages directly under the group.

A group will only persist after at least one page has been added or moved into it before saving.

Automatic Saving

Sidebar changes are automatically saved shortly after modifications are made.

Note

A newly created group is not retained unless it contains at least one Wiki Page. Add or move a page into the group before leaving the sidebar editor.

Benefits of Using Groups

  • Organize related documentation under a common heading.
  • Improve navigation for large documentation sites.
  • Create a logical hierarchy without changing page content.
