Party
A Party in Frappe Books represents any individual or organization with whom your business conducts transactions. Depending on its role, a Party can be a Customer, a Supplier, or both, allowing you to manage sales and purchase activities efficiently.
Party records store important contact, accounting, and currency information that is automatically used while creating invoices and payments.
Tip
Create the Party under the appropriate module (Customers, Suppliers, or Common Party). The Party’s role cannot be changed after it has been created.

Parties are categorized based on their role in your business transactions.
