Batch Management

A Batch is a group of learners enrolled in one or more courses during a specific time period. Batches help organize students, schedule live sessions, manage assessments, and monitor learning progress. Only users with the Moderator role can create and manage batches.

Create a Batch

Navigate to the Batches section and click the New Batch button.

Provide the following information while creating a batch:

Basic Information

  • Title – Name of the batch.
  • Description – Short summary displayed on the batch page.
  • Batch Details – Detailed description, syllabus, prerequisites, or other important information.
  • Meta Image – Image displayed when the batch link is shared on social media.

Schedule

  • Start Date – Date when the batch begins.
  • End Date – Date when the batch ends.
  • Start Time – Session start time.
  • End Time – Session end time.

Enrollment Settings

  • Seat Count – Maximum number of learners allowed to enroll.
  • Medium – Choose between Online or Offline.
  • Category – Organize batches using LMS Categories.
  • Evaluation End Date – Last date learners can schedule evaluations.

Additional Settings

  • Batch Details Raw – Optional custom HTML content.
  • Paid Batch – Require payment before enrollment.
  • Amount – Batch fee.
  • Currency – Currency used for payment.
Note

Paid batches require a configured payment gateway before learners can complete enrollment.

Manage a Batch

After saving, you’ll be redirected to the Batch page where you can edit details or click Manage Batch to configure additional options.

Batch Management Features

Students

Add learners manually by entering their registered email addresses. Only existing users can be enrolled.

Courses

Assign one or more courses to the batch. Learners enrolled in the batch will complete these courses as part of their curriculum. Evaluators can also be assigned to individual courses.

Assessments

Add quizzes and assignments to evaluate learner performance. Moderators can monitor assignment status and quiz scores directly from the batch.

Announcements

Send important updates and emails to every learner enrolled in the batch. All announcements remain available for future reference.

Discussions

Provide a collaborative discussion space where learners can ask questions and receive help from instructors, moderators, or fellow learners.

Live Classes

Schedule and manage live learning sessions for the batch from the Live Classes section.

Student Dashboard

Every learner has a dedicated dashboard within each batch that provides quick access to learning activities.

Dashboard Includes

  • Evaluation scheduling.
  • Upcoming evaluation sessions.
  • Assignment submission status.
  • Quiz attempts and scores.
  • Course progress overview.

Learning Activity Heatmap

The dashboard also displays an activity heatmap showing learning progress over recent weeks. Activities tracked include:

  • Completing lessons.
  • Submitting quizzes.
  • Submitting assignments.

The heatmap helps learners monitor consistency and encourages regular engagement with their courses.

Batches make it easy to organize learners, assign courses, manage assessments, schedule evaluations, conduct discussions, and monitor learner progress from a single interface. Combined with announcements, live classes, and student dashboards, batches provide a structured learning experience for both instructors and learners.
