Lessons
Lessons are where the actual learning content lives in a course. A lesson can contain text, images, videos, quizzes, assignments, programming exercises, documents, presentations, and other interactive content, allowing you to build engaging learning experiences.
Create a Lesson
- Open the Course you want to edit.
- Select the Chapter where you want to add the lesson.
- Click the Add Lesson button inside the chapter.
- The Lesson Editor will open, where you can start building your lesson.
- Enter the lesson details and publish when ready.
Lessons can be edited anytime, allowing instructors to continuously improve course content without recreating the lesson.
Lesson Content Types
Frappe Learning supports multiple content formats within a single lesson. By default, every lesson starts with a Text block, and additional content blocks can be inserted using the + button in the editor.
Text
Standard rich-text content for explanations, notes, formatting, links, images, and other educational material.
Heading
Organize lessons with multiple heading levels, making long lessons easier to navigate.
Quiz
Insert previously created quizzes directly into a lesson to assess learner understanding and control course progression.
Assignment
Allow learners to submit files, documents, images, PDFs, or URLs for instructor evaluation.
Programming Exercises
Embed interactive coding exercises where learners can write, execute, and test code directly inside the lesson.
Upload
Upload and display images, videos, audio files, PDFs, and other supported documents directly within the lesson.
Google Slides
Embed Google Slides presentations by pasting a publicly accessible sharing link.
Google Docs & Google Sheets
Display live Google Documents and Spreadsheets directly inside lessons using their share links.
Video Hosting
Embed videos hosted on platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, Cloudflare Stream, and BunnyStream.
CodeSandbox
Integrate live CodeSandbox projects to provide hands-on coding demonstrations and practice environments.
Embedded content such as Google Docs, Google Slides, YouTube videos, and other external resources will only be visible if the original content has appropriate sharing permissions.
