Setting Up Payment Gateways

Frappe Learning uses the Payments app to process payments for paid courses, certifications, and batches. Before accepting payments, install the Payments app and configure your preferred payment gateway.

Prerequisites

Before configuring payments, ensure the Payments app is installed on your Frappe Learning site.

Supported Payment Gateways

Frappe Learning supports the following payment providers:

• Razorpay
• Stripe
• PayPal
• Braintree
• GoCardless
• Mpesa
• PayTM

Configure a Payment Gateway

Each payment provider has its own Settings DocType in the Desk.

To configure a payment gateway:

1. Open the Desk.
2. Search for the Settings DocType of your preferred payment provider (for example, Razorpay Settings).
3. Enter the required API credentials and configuration details provided by the payment gateway.
4. Save the settings.

Select the Default Payment Gateway

After configuring your payment provider:

1. Open the Settings page in the Learning Portal.
2. Navigate to the Payment Gateway section.
3. Select the payment gateway you want to use.
4. Configure the Default Currency and any additional payment settings.
5. Save your changes.

Enable Paid Courses and Batches

Once a payment gateway has been configured, you can start monetizing your learning platform by enabling payment options for:

• Paid Courses.
• Paid Certifications.
• Paid Batches.

When these options are enabled, learners must complete payment before they can enroll or access premium content.
