Comments
Comments provide a dedicated space for internal discussions on Leads and Deals. They help sales teams collaborate, share updates, ask questions, and record important information without sending internal emails or using external messaging tools.
Comments are visible only to users inside your CRM and are designed for team collaboration rather than customer communication.
Note
Comments are intended for internal use only. Customers cannot view comments added to Leads or Deals.
Why Use Comments?
Comments help your team keep important discussions in context by attaching them directly to the related Lead or Deal.
Common uses include:
- Sharing updates after customer meetings.
- Recording important follow-up information.
- Discussing deal strategy with teammates.
- Assigning action items through mentions.
- Keeping a historical record of internal conversations.

- User Mentions — Mention teammates using @username to notify them.
