Saved Views
Saved Views let you customize list pages by saving your preferred filters, sorting, and visible columns. Instead of configuring the same list every time, you can switch to a saved view and instantly see the data the way you want.
Saved Views are especially useful for tracking specific groups of leads, deals, contacts, or tasks. They can also serve as lightweight reports for frequently accessed information.
Note
Saved Views are private by default and are only visible to the user who creates them. They can later be shared with other users by making them public.
What is a Saved View?
A Saved View stores your preferred list configuration, including:
- Filters — Display only records that match specific conditions.
- Sorting — Arrange records in ascending, descending, or custom order.
- Columns — Choose which fields appear in the list view.
Once saved, you can switch to that configuration anytime with a single click.
Ways to Create a Saved View
There are two ways to customize list views.
1. Customize the Default View
The default list view automatically remembers your personal preferences.
- Open a list page such as Leads or Deals.
- Click + Add to apply filters, sorting, or columns.
- Make your desired changes.
Your configuration is automatically saved, so the next time you open the same list, your customized layout is restored.
Automatic Saving
You do not need to manually save changes made to the default list view. Filters, sorting, and column selections are remembered automatically.
2. Create a Named View
Named Views let you save multiple list configurations for different purposes.
- Apply the required filters, sorting, and column selections.
- Click the current List view name.
- Select + Create View.
- Enter a descriptive name.
- Click Create.
The new Saved View appears in the list view dropdown and can be selected whenever you need it.
Managing Saved Views
Each Saved View includes a menu with additional management options.
- Duplicate — Create a copy of an existing view.
- Edit — Rename the view and assign a custom icon.
- Pin View — Add the view to the sidebar for quicker access.
- Make Public — Share the view with other users.
- Delete — Permanently remove the saved view.
Tip
Use descriptive names such as My Open Deals, High Priority Leads, or Tasks Due Today so you can quickly identify the correct view.
Common Use Cases
- View only open leads assigned to you.
- Track deals closing this month.
- Monitor high-priority tasks.
- Display contacts from a specific territory.
- Create pipeline-specific reports for your sales team.
Best Practices
- Use filters to focus on the records you work with most often.
- Include only the columns needed for your workflow to reduce clutter.
- Create separate Saved Views for different sales processes.
- Duplicate an existing view instead of rebuilding similar configurations.
- Make views public only when they are useful for the entire team.
Note
Pinned Views and Public Views are additional features that help teams quickly access commonly used list configurations and share standardized views across the organization.
