Invite Users to Frappe CRM
Frappe CRM is designed for team collaboration. By inviting your sales team, managers, and administrators, you can assign leads, manage deals collaboratively, and ensure customer interactions are visible to the right people.
Tip
Invite all team members before setting up lead assignments and sales workflows to ensure work is distributed correctly from the beginning.
Invite New Users
Invite users who do not already have an account on your Frappe site.
- Go to Settings → Invite User.
- Enter one or more email addresses.
- Select the appropriate user role.
- Click Send Invites.
Each invited user receives an email with instructions to create their account and sign in to Frappe CRM.
Tip
To invite multiple users at once, separate email addresses with commas.
Add Existing Site Users
Users who already have an account on your Frappe site (for example, through ERPNext, HRMS, or Helpdesk) do not need another invitation.
Instead, add them directly to Frappe CRM.
- Go to Settings → Users.
- Select the existing user.
- Assign the appropriate CRM role.
- Save your changes.
Once added, the user can immediately access Frappe CRM using their existing account credentials.
Note
Existing Frappe site users are not automatically added to Frappe CRM. They must be granted CRM access before they can use the application.
User Roles
Each user must be assigned a role that determines the level of access they have within Frappe CRM.

Designed for day-to-day sales representatives.
- Manage assigned leads and deals.
- Track customer interactions.
- Update activities, notes, and tasks.
Manager

- Monitor sales performance.
- Support and supervise sales representatives.
Admin

- Manage users and permissions.
- Configure CRM settings.
- Customize workflows and application behavior.
- Access all CRM features.
Manage Users
After users have been added, they appear in Settings → Users.
From this page, administrators can:
- View all CRM users.
- Change user roles.
- Manage user access.
Best Practice
Follow the principle of least privilege by assigning users the lowest role required for their responsibilities. You can always grant additional permissions later if needed.
