Change a Site Plan
Frappe Cloud allows you to change your site’s plan at any time. Upgrading or downgrading your plan lets you adjust compute resources based on your site’s workload and performance requirements.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have permission to manage the site. Review the available plans to choose one that best matches your application’s resource requirements.
Change Your Site Plan
- Open your Frappe Cloud dashboard.
- Select the site whose plan you want to change.
- On the Overview tab, locate the Plan section.
- Click Change.
- Select the new plan from the list of available options.
- Review the selected plan and click Change Plan to confirm.
After Changing the Plan
Once the request is confirmed, Frappe Cloud updates your site’s plan. The new resource allocation and billing take effect according to the selected plan.
Things to Consider
- Choose a plan that matches your site’s current workload and expected growth.
- You can change your site’s plan again later if your resource requirements change.
- Review plan specifications before confirming to ensure the selected plan provides the CPU, memory, and storage your site needs.
Best Practice
Monitor your site’s resource usage after changing plans. If CPU, memory, or storage utilization consistently approaches the plan limits, consider upgrading to maintain optimal performance.
