Zoho Analytics
Zoho Analytics is a business intelligence platform that enables you to analyze your Frappe Cloud data by creating interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
Overview
To connect Zoho Analytics with your Frappe Cloud database, you’ll first need to create a read-only database user. After configuring the connection, you can import database tables and schedule automatic data synchronization.
Step 1: Create a Database User
Generate a read-only database user for your Frappe Cloud site using the Database Users and Permission Manager.
- Create a read-only database user.
- Wait a few seconds for the configuration to complete.
- Click View Credential to obtain the connection details.
Keep the following information available for the setup:
- Server Name
- Port
- Database Name
- Username
- Password
Step 2: Add a MariaDB Data Source
Open your Zoho Analytics dashboard and begin importing data.
- Navigate to the Import Data page.
- Search for and select MariaDB as the data source.
Step 3: Configure the Connection
Configure the database connection using the credentials from Step 1.
- Set Cloud Service Provider to Other Cloud Services.
- Enter the database connection details.
- Enable the SSL option.
Important
Always enable SSL when connecting Zoho Analytics to your Frappe Cloud database to ensure all data is transferred securely.
Step 4: Import Database Tables
After the connection is established:
- Select the database tables you want to import.
- Configure the synchronization schedule based on your reporting requirements.
- Start the import process.
Once the import is complete, the selected tables will be available within your Zoho Analytics workspace.
