Change the Email Delivery Service Plan
Frappe Cloud lets you upgrade or change your Email Delivery Service plan at any time. You can select a plan that best matches your email sending requirements directly from your site’s dashboard.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have permission to manage apps on your site. Review the available Email Delivery Service plans to choose one that meets your expected email volume.
Change the Email Delivery Service Plan
- Open your Frappe Cloud site dashboard.
- Navigate to the Apps tab.
- Locate the Email Delivery Service app.
- Click the three-dot (⋮) menu beside the app.
- Select Change Plan.
- Choose the plan that best fits your requirements.
- Click Select Plan to confirm the change.
Monitor Email Delivery
After signing in to your site, you can monitor outgoing emails using the built-in analytics.
- Open the Awesome Bar.
- Search for Email Delivery Analytics.
- Open the report to view email delivery statistics and activity.
Using Your Own SMTP Server
If you prefer to send emails using your own SMTP server or third-party email service, you can disable the Frappe Cloud Email Delivery Service.
- Open the Apps tab for your site.
- Uninstall the Email Delivery Service app.
- Configure your preferred SMTP account in your site’s email settings.
Best Practice
Regularly review Email Delivery Analytics to monitor sending activity and identify delivery issues early. If you switch to your own SMTP service, verify your email configuration before sending production emails.
