Drop a Bench
If you no longer need a bench, you can permanently delete it from your Frappe Cloud account. Before dropping a bench, ensure that no active sites are hosted on it.
Important
A bench cannot be deleted while it contains active sites. Move or delete all sites on the bench before attempting to drop it.
Drop a Bench
- Open your Bench dashboard.
- Go to Actions > Dangerous Actions.
- Click Drop.
- When prompted, enter the name of the bench to confirm the action.
- Click the Drop button to permanently delete the bench.
After Dropping a Bench
Once the confirmation is completed, the bench is permanently removed from your Frappe Cloud account. This action cannot be undone.
Best Practice
Before dropping a bench, verify that all required sites have been migrated or backed up. This helps prevent accidental data loss.
