Frappe Cloud Marketplace Apps
Frappe Cloud Marketplace allows developers to share their Frappe applications publicly with the community. It provides a platform where users can discover and install apps on their Frappe-based sites.
Open Source Requirement
All apps published on the Marketplace must be Open Source. Apps must use an MIT-compatible license or a license compatible with the GNU General Public License (GPL).
Apps from publishers that do not meet this licensing requirement will not be accepted.
About Frappe Cloud Marketplace
Frappe Cloud Marketplace is a platform for sharing Frappe apps with the wider community. It connects app developers with users running Frappe-based sites.
Developers can publish both:
- Free apps
- Paid apps
Users can install these apps directly on their sites based on their requirements.
Marketplace Apps
Apps available on the Marketplace are built using the Frappe Framework.
These apps can be:
- Extensions that add functionality to existing applications such as ERPNext.
- Complete applications providing standalone functionality.
Requirements to Publish an App
To publish an app on the Frappe Cloud Marketplace, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must be the owner of the app.
- The app source code must be hosted on GitHub.
- The app must follow the Marketplace licensing requirements.
- The app will go through a review and approval process before being published.
