Delete a Dedicated Server

Deleting a server permanently removes both the Application Server and the Database Server. This action cannot be undone, so ensure that all required data has been backed up before proceeding.

Warning

Deleting a server is irreversible. Once deleted, the server and all associated resources cannot be recovered.

Before You Delete

  • Delete all sites hosted on the server.
  • Delete all Bench Groups associated with the server.
  • Verify that you have backups of any data you wish to retain.

Delete the Server

  1. Open the Server Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Actions → Dangerous Actions.
  3. Click Drop Server.
  4. Type the complete server name or server title to confirm the action.
  5. Click Drop Server to permanently delete the server.
Important

You cannot delete a server while it still contains active Bench Groups or Sites. These resources must be removed before the server can be deleted.
