Transfer a Bench

The Transfer Bench feature allows you to transfer ownership of an entire bench to another team. Once the transfer is accepted, the destination team becomes the owner of the bench and can manage its configuration, deployments, and sites.

Note

The transfer is completed only after the receiving team accepts the ownership request sent by email.

Transfer a Bench

  1. Open your Bench dashboard.
  2. Go to the Actions tab.
  3. Select Transfer Bench.
  4. Enter the required details for the destination team.
  5. Click Transfer to initiate the ownership transfer.

Accept the Transfer

After the transfer request is submitted:

  1. The destination team receives an email notification.
  2. Open the email and click Accept Bench Group Transfer.
  3. Once accepted, ownership of the bench is transferred to the new team.

Good to Know

Until the receiving team accepts the transfer request, the bench remains under the ownership of the current team.
