Uninstall an App from Your Site
If you no longer need an app installed on your Frappe Cloud site, you can uninstall it directly from the site’s dashboard. Uninstalling an app removes it from the site while leaving other installed apps unaffected.
Important
Before uninstalling an app, ensure it is no longer required by your site. Removing an app may delete its data and make related features unavailable.
Uninstall an App
- Open your Frappe Cloud dashboard.
- Select the site from which you want to remove the app.
- Go to the Apps tab.
- Locate the app you want to uninstall.
- Click the three-dot (⋮) menu next to the app.
- Select Uninstall from the menu.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
After Uninstalling
Once the uninstallation is complete, the app is removed from your site and its functionality is no longer available. If needed, you can reinstall the app later, provided it is available for your site and bench.
Best Practice
If the app contains important business data, create a backup of your site before uninstalling it. This ensures you can recover your data if the app needs to be restored later.
