Enable or Disable Auto Updates for a Site
Auto Updates allow your site to automatically receive the latest app updates whenever a new deployment is available for your private bench. You can enable or disable this feature at any time from your site’s dashboard.
Note
Auto Update is available only for sites hosted on a Private Bench Group.
Configure Auto Updates
- Open your Site from the Frappe Cloud dashboard.
- Click the Update button.
- Click Configure.
- In the configuration dialog, use the Enable Auto Update toggle to turn automatic updates On or Off.
- Save the changes to apply the new setting.
How Auto Updates Work
When Auto Update is enabled, your site is automatically updated whenever a new deployment containing app updates is completed for your private bench. If disabled, you must manually select your site when deploying updates to apply the latest app versions.
Best Practice
Enable Auto Updates for development or testing sites to receive updates automatically. For production sites, consider disabling Auto Update if you prefer to review and schedule updates manually.
