Publishing an App on Frappe Cloud Marketplace

To publish and manage apps on the Frappe Cloud Marketplace, you need to create a Marketplace Developer Account. This account allows you to submit, manage, and publish your Frappe apps on the Marketplace.

Creating a Marketplace Developer Account

To enable your Marketplace Developer Account:

1. Open the Settings page from your Frappe Cloud dashboard.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Click on the Become a Publisher button.

Once your Developer Account is enabled, a new Marketplace tab will appear on your Frappe Cloud dashboard.

Adding Your Frappe App

To add an app to the Marketplace:

1. Open the Marketplace tab.
2. Click the + Add App button.

A dialog will open displaying the apps that you own. These may include apps that you have previously added to your bench group.

Adding an App From GitHub

If your app is hosted on GitHub and is not listed in the app selection dialog, use the Add from GitHub option.

1. Click on the Add from GitHub link.
2. Authorize Frappe Cloud to access your GitHub account.
3. Select your Frappe app repository.
4. Choose the Frappe Framework version supported by your app.
5. Click Add to Marketplace.

Managing Your Marketplace App

After adding your app, a Marketplace App entry will be created. You will be redirected to the app management page where you can configure and manage your Marketplace listing.

Managing Your App Profile

The first tab on the Marketplace App page is the Overview tab.

From this section, you can update the information displayed on the Marketplace, including:

• App image
• App description
• Links and other app details

Details Required for Publishing

Before your app can be published, make sure all required details mentioned in the Marketplace guidelines are completed from the app overview page.

Next Steps

After adding your Marketplace app and completing all required information, you need to publish a specific release of your app.

Once the release is submitted:

• The release will be reviewed.
• The app will be approved if it is the first release.
• Your app will become available on the Frappe Cloud Marketplace.
