Training Result in Frappe HR: Recording Training Outcomes
A Training Result records the outcome of a training event for each attendee how they did and whether they completed the training. It turns a finished session into a measurable record, so training isn’t just held but actually tracked.
You will find it under Home > Human Resources > Training > Training Result, and it’s usually created from a completed Training Event.
BEFORE YOU START
You need a Training Event that has taken place, with its attendees recorded the result is built on that event and its list of attendees.
How to create a Training Result
- Open the completed Training Event and create a Training Result from it (or start a new Training Result and link the event).
- The event’s attendees are pulled into the result.
- For each attendee, record their outcome a Grade or rating, the Hours attended, and any Comments.
- Save, then Submit.
What gets captured
The result holds a row per attendee with their grade, hours, and comments, giving you a clear picture of who attended, how engaged they were, and how they performed. Over time this builds a useful record of each employee’s training and development.
TIP
Record results soon after the session while the trainer’s impressions are fresh. Accurate grades and comments now make the training history genuinely useful later for appraisals, skill tracking, or deciding who needs a refresher.

SUMMARY
A Training Result records each attendee’s outcome from a training event. Created from a completed Training Event, it pulls in the attendees so you can capture a grade, hours, and comments for each. This builds a clear, per-employee record of training performance that’s useful for appraisals and skill tracking. Record results promptly while the session is fresh for the most accurate history.
