Training Feedback in Frappe HR: Capturing Attendee Feedback on Training
Training Feedback is where an attendee shares their view of a training event how useful the session was, how well the trainer delivered it, and whether the content hit the mark. It’s the flip side of a Training Result: where the result is the trainer’s assessment of the attendee, the feedback is the attendee’s assessment of the training.
You will find it under Home > Human Resources > Training > Training Feedback, submitted by an attendee after the session.
BEFORE YOU START
There should be a completed Training Event that the employee attended, since the feedback is given against that event.
How to give Training Feedback
- From the completed Training Event, the attendee opens Training Feedback.
- The Training Event and the Employee giving feedback are linked.
- The attendee records their feedback their rating of the session and written comments on what worked and what could be better.
- Save, then Submit.
Why attendee feedback matters
Collecting feedback closes the loop on a training event. It tells you whether the training actually landed with the people it was for which sessions and trainers to run again, and which to rethink. Over time it’s the simplest signal for steadily improving your training programs.
TIP
Ask attendees to submit feedback right after the session, while the experience is fresh. Pairing their feedback with the Training Result gives you both sides of every session how attendees did, and what they thought which is exactly what you need to improve future training.

SUMMARY
Training Feedback captures an attendee’s view of a training event their rating and comments on the session, trainer, and content. Given against a completed Training Event the employee attended, it’s the attendee’s side of the story, complementing the trainer’s Training Result. Collecting it promptly closes the loop on each session and provides the clearest signal for improving future training programs.
