Google Calendar Integration

ERPNext integrates with Google Calendar to synchronize calendar events between ERPNext and Google Calendar. Depending on your configuration, events can be imported from Google Calendar, exported from ERPNext, or synchronized in both directions.

1. Prerequisites

Before configuring Google Calendar integration, create the required OAuth 2.0 credentials in Google Settings and authorize ERPNext to access your Google account.

2. Set Up Google Calendar Integration

  1. Create the required OAuth 2.0 credentials in Google Settings.
  2. Create a new Google Calendar record.
  3. Enter the calendar name and select the user whose calendar will be synchronized.
  4. Save the document.

3. Configure Synchronization

Choose how events should be synchronized between ERPNext and Google Calendar.

  • Pull from Google Calendar — Imports Google Calendar events into ERPNext.
  • Push to Google Calendar — Sends ERPNext events to Google Calendar.

You can enable either option individually or both to keep calendars synchronized.

4. Authorize Calendar Access

Click Authorize Calendar Access to grant ERPNext permission to access your Google Calendar.

After authorization, you can either manually synchronize calendar events or allow ERPNext to perform automatic daily synchronization.

5. Using Google Calendar Integration

Create Events in ERPNext

When Push to Google Calendar is enabled, every new event created in ERPNext is automatically synchronized with Google Calendar.

Update and Delete Events

Changes made to synchronized events in ERPNext, including deletions, are reflected in Google Calendar during synchronization.

Import Events from Google Calendar

When Pull from Google Calendar is enabled, ERPNext imports events from the connected Google Calendar into the ERPNext Event list during synchronization.
