These cards update automatically based on the available data and help users track ongoing operations, completed work, and quality-related activities.

Monthly Total Work Order

This Number Card displays the total number of Work Orders created during the previous month that are currently in the Open, In Progress, or Completed status.

It provides a quick overview of the overall manufacturing workload handled during the month.

Monthly Completed Work Order

This Number Card shows the total number of Completed Work Orders created during the previous month.

It helps production managers monitor monthly production output and evaluate manufacturing performance.

Ongoing Job Card

This Number Card displays the total number of Job Cards that are currently in progress and have not yet reached the Completed status.

It allows supervisors to quickly identify the volume of active production operations.

Monthly Quality Inspection

This Number Card displays the total number of submitted Quality Inspection records created during the previous month.

It helps organizations monitor quality control activities and track the number of inspections performed within the manufacturing process.

Dashboard

The Manufacturing dashboard in ERPNext provides a collection of predefined charts and reports that give users a visual overview of production performance. These dashboards are fully customizable, allowing users to show or hide charts and configure how manufacturing data is displayed.

Produced Quantity

This chart displays the total quantity of products manufactured through Work Orders over the last year.

• By default, the data is displayed on a quarterly basis.
• Users can switch the view to Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly according to their reporting requirements.

Completed Operation

This chart displays the total number of manufacturing operations completed during the last year.

• The default view is Quarterly.
• The reporting period can also be changed to Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.

Work Order Analysis

The Work Order Analysis chart provides a visual breakdown of Work Orders based on their current status.

The chart categorizes Work Orders into:

• Not Started
• In Process
• Stopped
• Completed

The chart uses the previous year’s Work Order data and allows users to modify the reporting period using the Filter option.

Quality Inspection Analysis

This dashboard chart provides an overview of Quality Inspection records based on their inspection results.

The chart categorizes inspections into:

• Accepted
• Rejected

The chart displays data from the previous year, and users can customize the reporting period using filters.

Pending Work Orders

This chart displays the number of pending Work Orders based on their aging.

The aging period is calculated using the difference between the current date and the planned start date or actual start date of the Work Order. This helps production teams identify delayed manufacturing activities and prioritize overdue work.

Last Month Downtime Analysis

This chart displays the total duration of machine downtime recorded during the previous month.

By monitoring machine downtime, businesses can identify equipment that requires maintenance, improve machine utilization, and reduce unexpected production interruptions.

Work Order Quantity Analysis

This chart compares the quantities produced through Work Orders over the last year.

It displays monthly quantities under two categories:

• Pending Quantity
• Completed Quantity

Job Card Analysis

This chart provides a monthly comparison of Job Cards over the last year.

The analysis categorizes Job Cards into:

• Pending
• Completed
