Google Contacts Integration

ERPNext integrates with Google Contacts, allowing users to synchronize their contacts between ERPNext and their Google account. Depending on your configuration, contacts can be imported from Google Contacts, exported from ERPNext, or synchronized in both directions.

1. Prerequisites

Before configuring Google Contacts integration, create the required OAuth 2.0 credentials in Google Settings and authorize ERPNext to access your Google account.

2. Set Up Google Contacts Integration

  1. Create the required OAuth 2.0 credentials in Google Settings.
  2. Open the Google Contacts list and create a new record.
  3. Enter the Google account email address you want to synchronize.
  4. Save the document.
  5. Click Authorize Contacts Access to grant ERPNext permission to access your Google Contacts.

3. Configure Synchronization

Select how contacts should be synchronized between ERPNext and Google Contacts.

  • Pull from Google Contacts — Imports contacts from Google Contacts into ERPNext.
  • Push to Google Contacts — Sends ERPNext contacts to your Google Contacts account.

You can enable either option individually or both to keep contacts synchronized.

4. Using Google Contacts Integration

Create Contacts in ERPNext

When Push to Google Contacts is enabled, every new contact created in ERPNext is automatically synchronized with your Google Contacts account.

Update Contacts

Changes made to synchronized contacts in ERPNext are reflected in Google Contacts during the next synchronization.

Import Contacts from Google Contacts

When Pull from Google Contacts is enabled, ERPNext imports contacts from your connected Google account into the ERPNext Contact list during synchronization.
