Territory
A Territory is a geographical region where your business operates.
In ERPNext, Territory is used to classify customers and addresses, support accounting reports, and help in allocating sales targets across regions.
1. Accessing Territory
To open the Territory list, navigate to:
Home > Selling > Settings > Territory
2. Creating a Territory
To create a new Territory in ERPNext:
- Go to the Territory list and click New.
- Enable Group Node if you want to create sub-territories under it.
- Example: France can be a parent territory and Paris can be a sub-territory.
- Click Save.
A Territory can later be selected in transactions and reports for better regional tracking.
3. Key Features of Territory
