Manufacturing Reports
Manufacturing Reports in ERPNext provide valuable insights into production activities, Work Orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), inventory availability, and manufacturing performance. These reports help production managers monitor manufacturing progress, identify bottlenecks, analyze production trends, and make informed operational decisions.
Most Manufacturing reports also support graphical visualization. Users can click the Set Chart button to display report data as charts for easier analysis.

Manufacturing reports are available from:

Open Work Orders Report
The Open Work Orders report displays Work Orders that have been created but where production has not yet started.
This report helps production planners:
- Track pending manufacturing jobs.
- Review upcoming production schedules.
- Identify Work Orders awaiting execution.
Work in Progress Report
The Work in Progress (WIP) report displays Work Orders that are currently under production.
Only Work Orders with the status In Process appear in this report.
It helps users:
- Monitor ongoing production.

- Identify jobs currently being processed on the shop floor.
Issued Items Against Work Order Report
This report displays raw materials that have been issued against Work Orders and transferred to the Work In Progress (WIP) Warehouse.

Completed Work Orders Report
The Completed Work Orders report lists all Work Orders where manufacturing has been completed successfully.
This report includes Work Orders whose planned production quantities have been fully manufactured.

- Analyzing completed production history.
Production Analytics Report
The Production Analytics report provides an overall analytical view of manufacturing activities.

BOM Search Report
The BOM Search report allows users to search Bills of Materials based on the raw materials used within them.

BOM Stock Report
The BOM Stock Report displays the availability of raw materials required to manufacture a selected BOM.

- Green indicates sufficient stock for production.
- Red indicates insufficient stock requiring replenishment.

Operational Note
Most Manufacturing reports support chart visualization. Selecting the Set Chart option allows report data to be displayed graphically for easier interpretation and decision-making.
